| The following help is available to anyone in need, for free. Qualification is applicable as indicated. * Emergency shelter for single men who are able to work, continent and sober. May stay up to 30 days. IF A BED IS NEEDED, QUALIFIED PERSONS SHOULD REPORT AT 5:30 PM DAILY TO CHECK IN. BEDS ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE. MORE ABOUT THIS (click) *Soup Kitchen is open Monday through Saturday, 4;00 - 5:3o PM. THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE MON-FRI; 10:45 AM - 2:20 PM. YOU MUST VISIT US IN PERSON TO RECEIVE HELP! *Food Pantry offers emergency supply of canned and non-perishables to families and individuals. Must bring ID & proof of dependents. *Brown bag lunch, 1st come, 1st serve. *Bread & Cakes are given away as available. *Rummage Table has all kinds of donated items. Includes clothing, male female, all ages Different stuff every day. *Help with delinquent utility bills. For area residents who have received a "FINAL NOTICE" from their utility company. Must bring request in writing for consideration. *Cribs for 1st time Moms If you are a first time visitor to the People That Love please check in with Brother Flinth when you come to get help. |

| SPECIAL EVENTS *New Years Eve, 8:00 PM: A buffet for our homeless guests. *Easter Buffet, Easter Sunday 3:30 PM: We honor the glorious resurrection day with a complete barbecue dinner and entertainment. Come Praise The Lord! *Memorial Day, 3:30 PM: Buffet to honor this solemn event and yet celebrate the great freedom we enjoy because of their ultimate sacrifice. *Back to School Day, 2 weeks before the start of school in Pinellas; 11:00 AM, school supplies are given to youngsters in need. Escaping poverty through education! *Labor Day, 3:30 PM: A workers day with barbecue and fun. *Halloween Buffet, Halloween Eve, 8:00 PM: Christian celebration with a movie, the story behind Halloween and good old fashioned witnessing! *Take Home Turkey Dinner, 11:00 AM: On Monday before Thanksgiving pre-registered families receive a turkey basket with a fresh 10-12 lb turkey and all the trimmings. *Holiday Buffet, Saturday, 1 week before CHRISTMAS, 3:30 PM: Aholiday celebration for the LORD JESUS. Ham, turkey and all the sides *Free Toys For Kids Day, Christmas Eve, 11:00 AM: This is it. The wildest, happiest day of the year for needy youngsters who receive brand new toys, ice cream and other goodies. Held on Christmas Eve what better way to remind the kids who the reason for the season is? *Christmas Eve Buffet, 8:00 PM: A little gathering for our homeless guests to ease the loneliness of the season. There is a wonderful way to grow God's love in a child by involving them in the His work. Illustrated examples are the youngsters from Keswick Christian
School and James Sanderlin Elementary.
As part of a community service project the Keswick students visited the property and painted our storage area and some church rooms. Not only was this a
tremendous help to us but it gave them a sense of participation in the vital work done here and the fulfillment that comes when one works for Jesus.
For their community service projects the James Sanderlin youngsters conducted food drives. While helpful at anytime their work was received with gratitude
and humilty because of hard times for all and especially for the needy.
The children took their service very seriously as seen by their faces. More important was the instant boost to their character and future as mature adults
who care about others. Above all of this, they learned how to express Jesus in their young lives.
